CURRENT VACANCIES:

The Ripon Area School District is seeking a full-time middle school/high school Cross-Categorical Special Education teacher beginning the 2016-2017 school year. This position will provide services to students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities with a strong emphasis on academic and functional life skills. The Ripon Area School District has an opening for a part-time 4-year-old Preschool teaching position at Pickett Community Center for the 2016-17 school year.  Applicants must hold a Wisconsin Elementary teaching license.  Interested candidates are preferred to have a strong background in Balanced Literacy and experience with a play-based model of learning. This is a one-year contract part-time position. The Ripon Area School District has an opening for a Library Media Specialist beginning in the 2016-17 school year.  Applicants should possess or be qualified for Wisconsin certification as a Library Media Specialist (902). Consideration would also be given to those who do not currently have the 902 licensure, but are currently in pursuit or would like to pursue that certification. Preferences will be given to candidates with experience as a Library Media Specialist and a background in developing information literacy across the district, designing and delivering effective technology-infused content-based instruction, and assisting and training building instructional staff in the integration of technology to support student achievement. Candidates should have a solid commitment to the education of children and a proven record of excellent communication, collaboration, community relationships, and team-building skills.
