Great Conversations Ticket Deadline Is March 12
Ed Foundation Event is March 19
The Ripon Education Foundation is hosting its annual Great Conversations Dinner on March 19 at Ripon College’s Great Hall. Due to a sell-out last year, the number of table discussions has been increased this year to 16 interesting topics (see accompanying brochure for complete list). Don’t miss this opportunity to have a great conversation in a great hall with great people! Tickets to the annual fund-raising event are $45 and are available at Ripon Drug and all school offices. The deadline for purchasing tickets is March 12. In addition to choosing which of the 16 discussion topics each person wants to join, participants have a choice of 3 delicious entrees at the time of ticket purchase.
The Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization that provides extra support to education programs that change lives. In addition to the Community Scholarships awarded annually to RHS graduates attending 4-year and 2-year colleges, the Foundation sponsors the Jenny Long Tutoring Program, the Art Presenter Program, the High Mileage Vehicle Team, Classroom Innovation Grants, the RHS Reunion Coordinator, and the Ripon Reads Coalition. Contributions to the Ripon Education Foundation are tax-deductible.
The annual door-to-door community scholarship drive is scheduled for March 20 & 21 when RHS students will visit every residence in the City of Ripon to ask for donations to fund scholarships for the Class of 2010. Over $54,000 in scholarships have been awarded to Ripon students since 1999.
