Over 50 Seats Available to New
Open Enrollment Applicants
Eighty-six students are currently open enrolled into the Ripon Area School District for the 2009-10 school year, and the Ripon Board of Education has authorized more than 50 additional seats to be available for 2010-11 open enrollment students. Nine of the fourteen grade levels have space for additional students while five of the grade levels are closed due to being at capacity according to the District’s policy.
Closed to new 2010-11 open enrollment applications are grades 1, 3, 4, 9, and 10. The remaining nine grade levels from 4PS/4K to grade 12 have seats available for new open enrollment students. The statewide application period for open enrollment is February 1 – 19, 2010. Applications must be submitted online. Ms. Karin Hanke, located at the school district office, is the Ripon coordinator and can answer parent questions as well as assist with online applications. Ms. Hanke can be reached at 920-748-4600.
