Withdrawal Process
It has been a privilege to work with your family. We understand that their may come a time when you will need to withdrawal your child from Odyssey Academy of Virtual Learning. If you need to withdraw your child (either during a school year or after finishing the school year) please find the withdrawal process below. - Families complete the Odyssey Withdrawal Form and Exit Survey and return to Britnie Meyer via email. It is encouraged to notify your child’s teacher of the withdrawal as well.
- Britnie Meyer will notify staff and Riverwood Educational Services (RESI) of the Withdrawal.
- RESI will contact the family to return technology materials. Parents must return the laptop computer and/or iPad to Riverwood Educational Services (shipping provided). If equipment is damaged, student fines or fees are assessed.
- If enrolling into another school district the school will send an Official Records Request to Britnie Meyer after enrolling into the district. Once received Britnie Meyer will send all student records to the new district. This process cannot be completed until the enrollment process has been completed at the new district.
- Any lessons or memberships are canceled if applicable.
- Families will receive a withdrawal letter, invoice, and curriculum statement in the mail.
- The family must notify Odyssey of their decision with curriculum and supplies at odyssey@ripon.k12.wi.us. Parents then return curriculum equipment and supplies purchased by Odyssey or send payment to Britnie Meyer’s attention. Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the parents.
- Quarter 1- 75-100% fees spent assessed
- Quarter 2- 50- 75 % fees spent assessed
- Quarter 3- 25-50% fees spent assessed
