Danny Zamost

Ripon Middle School,

My name is Danny Zamost and I am honored to be writing to you all as the Middle School Principal! I have had a variety of valuable experiences working with students and staff that have helped me along my path to becoming an administrator. Taking on the role as Principal, my main focus will be to guide and assist our students in gaining proactive skills to become competent, creative citizens, who feel a sense of responsibility for their actions and are committed to having a positive presence in our community. I will work hard with staff and families to improve student engagement and to enhance student development. I believe that collaboration and teamwork is the key to success for our students, staff and community.

School culture is a top priority of ours. We will be leading in creating and fostering a safe, enjoyable environment where students and staff look forward to coming to school each day. I know this may sound too good to be true, yet when we all work together this can become our reality. Here at RMS we want to work hard, be dedicated, and have many enjoyable moments as we learn, laugh, make mistakes, support each other and grow together. I am looking forward to working side by side with you and getting to know our students, staff, and community members better as we start this new school year!

RMS students receive core instruction in math, science, social studies, reading, and language arts. The seven-period day allows students to also explore options in music, art, technology education, foreign language, agriculture, and physical education. In addition to academic success, we also teach our students about the importance of being good citizens, being responsible, and showing respect.  We use Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) as a way to help students learn and practice appropriate behaviors in school.

We recognize the invaluable role that parents and guardians play in your students' educational journey. We believe that a strong partnership between the school and families is essential for the success of our students. Together, we can create an environment where every RMS student can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. With this being said, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or ways you would like to work together moving forward.

Sincerely,

Danny Zamost

Principal
