Student Insurance

The Ripon Area School District does not provide health or accident insurance for injuries incurred by students at school, on school premises, or while participating in on- or off-campus school-sponsored activities (including athletics). The District does not maintain a medical policy to pay for such injuries. Families are responsible for their own healthcare coverage and all medical expenses resulting from student injuries. Families seeking medical insurance coverage may wish to consider the Wisconsin Department of Health Services BadgerCare Plus Program.
