We are excited to announce a new collaboration between the Ripon Area School District and the Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area Ripon Site. In spring, the RASD School Board reviewed and approved changes to our BRAVE program, in anticipation of the elimination of federal grant funds. We were recently informed that the grant funds have been reinstated, and as a result, we’ve chosen to pursue a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club to ensure RASD families have access to childcare outside of the school day. Learn more about the Boys & Girls Club. Because this opportunity will be funded via federal grant dollars, both partners must adhere to the grant requirements, including fees and services. To begin the school year, the Club will not charge fees for children in grades 4K-2nd grade, for before-school, after-school, or RASD Inservice days, per grant requirements. This will remain the case, so long as we can successfully shift our funding partner to the Boys & Girls Club. It’s important for both entities to be transparent that, in the event we are unable to gain approval for this shift from DPI by December 19, 2025, before-and after-school Club fees will apply to children in grades 4K-2nd grade, as well. Program offerings for before-school, after-school, and non-school days will operate beginning September 2, 2025. Program details are available HERE.
