Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Department

On behalf of the Ripon Area School District, I would like to welcome you to the Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Department. Our Board of Education, administrators, and learning facilitators are committed to providing high-quality learning opportunities for all learners in the Ripon Area School District. Our district has a comprehensive curriculum aligned to the Common Core State Standards and the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards. 

The primary responsibilities of the Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Department include:

• Ensuring curriculum meets local, state, and global expectations.
• Assisting learning facilitators in designing instruction and supporting instruction that meets the needs of all learners.
• Promoting the use of common assessments across grade levels and courses to monitor student learning.
• Providing quality staff development so that learning facilitators are equipped with research-based practices.
• Supporting the services and programs that will prepare students to be career or college ready upon graduation.
