Student Insurance Information
Parents are hereby informed that the Ripon Area School District does not provide any type of health or accident insurance for injuries incurred by students at school. It is the responsibility of parents to provide adequate insurance coverage for their children’s school-sponsored activities – including athletics. As a service to students and families, our district makes available a student accident insurance plan for students at a nominal cost. Families might choose to purchase this coverage if their health plans have a high deductible and/or co-pays. Additionally, they may choose to purchase this voluntary coverage if their family is not covered by health insurance.
