Distribution of Information to Students
Community service organizations or outside agencies interested in distributing material to students for non-school sponsored activities must complete a Distribution to Students Request Application (see below) AND provide a sample of the information for distribution. The request and distribution sample can either be emailed to Kristi Schmitt, Business Services Specialist or dropped off at the Administrative Services Center at 1120 Metomen Street. See the forms section at the bottom of the page for additional information.
Approval Process:
- All requests will be reviewed by the superintendent of schools for approval.
- No materials will be distributed until they have been approved.
- The criteria for approval are included in the application form (see below).
- We are happy to share event announcements or flyers electronically on the Community Events & Flyers Page of our website.
- If paper handouts are preferred rather than electronic, the materials should be duplicated, provided in pre-counted classroom/homeroom packets, and delivered to the schools by the outside agency. Please see the Distribution Information list below.
Requirements:
If the activity has a fee associated with it or would require travel, the requestor must add the information below to the distribution materials:
- "NEED HELP? Does your child need funds, a ride or encouragement to participate in this opportunity? Call 748-4600 to reach the Tiger Talk Team for assistance if anything is standing in the way of your child participating in this program. "
- "ABLE TO OFFER HELP? Likewise, call 748-4600 to reach the Tiger Talk Team if you will have a child participating in this event and want the organizers to know you may be able to assist a family interested in participating in this program."
