Building Resiliency Assets and Values in Everyone (BRAVE)
The mission of the BRAVE program is to provide educational, social, health, and recreational programming in a collaborative and innovative manner to all members of the community in a safe, healthy, drug-free and supportive environment.
When is Programming Available & For What Age Group?
- Programming is available for elementary students in grades 4K-5 at Barlow Park Elementary and Murray Park Quest Elementary Schools. Before-school and after-school options are offered during the school year. Registration is required prior to participation.
- In addition to regular programming, we are pleased to offer FREE care for elementary students (grades 4K-5) on select teacher in-service days through CAMP BRAVE.
- CAMP BRAVE is a full-day program from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm and requires a separate registration. Funding for CAMP BRAVE is provided by the Nita Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant. With this funding, students have the opportunity to explore our community and state through FREE off-site field trips.
Visit each school's BRAVE webpage for more details and to register:
Meet Our BRAVE Coordinators
Each elementary school building has a BRAVE coordinator that leads programming for that building and grade level. Parents are encouraged to contact the site coordinator from their child's school with questions about programming specific to their child.
