Welcome to Ripon Middle School (RMS)! School culture is one of our top priorities. We strive to foster a safe, enjoyable environment where students and staff look forward to coming to school each day. I know this may sound too good to be true, yet when we all work together this can become our reality. Here at RMS, we want to work hard, be dedicated and have many enjoyable moments as we learn, laugh, make mistakes, support each other, and grow together.
As RMS Principal, my main focus is to guide and assist our students in gaining proactive skills to become competent, creative citizens, who feel a sense of responsibility for their actions and are committed to having a positive presence in our community. I will work hard with staff and families to improve student engagement and enhance student development. I believe that collaboration and teamwork are the keys to success for our students, staff, and community.
RMS students receive core instruction in math, science, social studies, reading, and language arts. The seven-period day allows students to also explore options in music, art, technology education, foreign language, agriculture, and physical education. In addition to academic success, we also teach our students about the importance of being good citizens, being responsible, and showing respect. We use Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) as a way to help students learn and practice appropriate behaviors in school.
We recognize the invaluable role that parents and guardians play in your student's educational journey. We believe that a strong partnership between the school and families is essential for the success of our students. Together, we can create an environment where every RMS student can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. With this being said, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or ways you would like to work together moving forward.
Sincerely,
Danny Zamost
