2021-2022 Enrollment for Non-Resident Students
Wisconsin's Regular Open Enrollment Period for the 2021-2022 school year begins February 1, 2021. Please visit the Wisconsin DPI website form more information about the 2021-2022 Regular and Alternative Open Enrollment process: https://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment.
The 2021-2022 regular open enrollment application period is February 1, 2021 - April 30, 2021 at 4 PM. Alternative open enrollment begins July 1, 2021, per the DPI website.

IMPORTANT NOTE: By Wisconsin State Statute, parents are only allowed to apply ONE time in a specific school district for enrollment through the open-enrollment process; therefore, if you apply during the regular open-enrollment period and are denied due to space, you are not allowed to use the alternative open-enrollment process to re-apply, even if there is space available during any given school year. Enrollment Process for the 2021-2022 School Year
To apply for enrollment in Odyssey Academy for Virtual Learning for the 2021-2022 school year:
- Complete a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Open Enrollment application on the DPI website between Monday, February 1, 2021 and Friday, April 30, 2021.
- Upon receipt and review of this application by the Ripon Area School District, you will be notified by the Ripon Area School District’s administrative office whether or not the open enrollment application you submitted is approved. Notifications will be emailed to families no later than Friday, June 11, 2021.
- If approved, families will be asked to confirm with the Ripon Area School District’s Administrative Office their intent to attend Odyssey by July 25, 2021.
- Upon confirmation of the enrollment intent, families will then be sent specific enrollment information for your student(s) beginning in mid-June via email. All requested enrollment information must be received by the office before your student(s) enrollment is complete.
