I am excited to welcome you to Murray Park and Quest Elementary Schools. It is an absolute honor to serve as your principal and partner in education. Having served as a classroom teacher here for 20 years, I am filled with extreme pride for the work being done at MPQ. Our staff are some of the finest educators focused on and dedicated to the students’ needs academically, behaviorally, socially and beyond. As your principal and partner, I look forward to working alongside you to support your child, their education and their path for the future.
Building relationships, supporting the whole child and maintaining high expectations for all are three things I value as an educational leader. Building relationships and building trust within these relationships are essential to fostering a community where learners can thrive. This also includes our home-to-school collaboration with your child as the focus. Additionally, supporting your child’s needs goes beyond just the academic lens. At MPQ, we know each learner is unique, and we strive to ensure their emotional, behavioral and social needs are supported, as well. We maintain high expectations for all learners, students and staff included, in order to support students in reaching their greatest potential. We meet students where they are and provide the structure and support to continue them towards their educational goals.
The Murray Park Quest building houses two schools: Murray Park Elementary and Quest Elementary. We serve intermediate elementary students in grades 3 - 5. Both schools have exceptional, innovative and dedicated teachers, use the same board-approved standards and materials and facilitate learning utilizing current best practices. Murray Park provides strong instruction in all academic areas including: literacy, math, science and social studies. Quest is a charter school focused on Project Based Learning, which is an interdisciplinary, inquiry approach to the content. MPQ focuses on using a growth mindset and continuous improvement to ensure ALL students can access their education and navigate the world around them now and in the future. While graduation may seem far away, we recognize the work we do at MPQ, in partnership with you, contributes to the critical foundation built throughout their time in the Ripon Area School District.
Everyone at MPQ looks forward to collaborating with you. Please feel free to connect with us. We are happy to answer any questions or offer assistance.
All the best,
Jessi Johnson
