Withdrawal Process
It has been a privilege to work with your family. We understand that there may come a time when you will need to withdraw your child from Odyssey Academy of Virtual Learning. If you need to withdraw your child (either during a school year or after finishing the school year) please find the withdrawal process below. If you have any questions at any time please contact the office at (920) 748-4625 or via email.
- Families will complete the Odyssey Withdrawal Survey. It is encouraged that you notify your child’s teacher of the withdrawal as well.
- The Odyssey office will notify all staff and Riverwood Educational Services Inc. (RESI) of the withdrawal.
- RESI will contact the family to return any technology and accessories provided by Odyssey. Parents must return any technology and accessories to RESI (shipping provided). If equipment is damaged, student fines or fees are assessed.
- If withdrawal is during the school year; All non-consumable materials (textbooks, reading books, manipulatives, etc.) will need to be returned to Odyssey via RESI (shipping provided). Consumable items (any item in the general supply or art supply budget) may be retained by the student. If the family would like to retain any of the non-consumable materials, the family should notify the Odyssey office to make arrangements. The family will not be responsible for shipping costs.
- If enrolling into another school district the new school will send an Official Records Request to the Odyssey office. When Odyssey receives the records request all student records will be sent to the new district.
- Any lessons or memberships are canceled if applicable.
