LIVE courses allow students to develop knowledge and skills by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful units and projects.
LIVE courses are offered in all core subject areas:
- English/Language Arts
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
LIVE courses are offered for the following electives:
- Art (weekly)
- Spanish (8th grade only)
Students meet twice a week with other students and teachers through virtual meetings to discuss assigned topics and to present the work they've been doing.
Odyssey teachers provide instruction via Zoom/recorded videos, provide feedback and assign coursework.

Asynchronous courses allow students to develop knowledge and skills by engaging in real-world and personally meaningful units and projects at a time/pace that works for them.
Asynchronous courses are offered in all core subject areas:
- English/Language Arts
- Math
- Science
- Social Studies
Asynchronous course are offered for the following electives:
- Art
- Music
- Physical Education
Students will be required to view two weekly recorded 60 minutes classes and complete up to three hours of homework per week. Timely work completion will count as attendance.
All work will be submitted through Google Classroom and should be submitted on time.

Students wishing to take courses online may do so through Accelerate Education.
- Through Accelerate, students have access to elective courses that are not taught by an Odyssey staff member.
Accelerate courses are self-guided and self-paced. Students have access to all course materials through an online platform and complete coursework and assignments at a pace and schedule that works best for them.
Odyssey teachers and Accelerate instructors are available for support in these courses.

Students have the flexibility to take up to two courses per semester at their local middle/high school.
